Close Up Nature  Photo

Local photography enthusiast Ed Pavlu will present the second part of his program on close-up photography in nature and the basics of macro photography in the Dublin Library Program Room in this fourth meeting of the Photography Discussion Group. The discussion will concentrate on using macro lenses and zoom lenses with built-in close-up features, and when to consider using a flash or a tripod or both. Examples of good techniques will be discussed and demonstrated.  A question-and-answer period will follow. This meeting will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014, from 2:00 to 4:30 PM in the Dublin Library Program Room.

Ed Pavlu’s work has been published in New Jersey Outdoor Nature magazine and Photographer’s Forum. He has won many awards for his nature images in photography competitions.

Dublin Library is hosting its third meeting of a monthly photography discussion group! Join us at  this group discussion to learn about the basics of macro photography in capturing natural subjects,  including how to understand and choose proper equipment.  Examples of good techniques will be discussed and demonstrated.  This meeting will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014, from 2:00 to 4:30 PM in the Dublin Library Program Room.

His work has been published in New Jersey Outdoor Nature magazine and Photographer’s Forum. He has won many awards for his nature images in photography competitions.
