June is Elder Abuse Awareness Month, and the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office and Supervisor Wilma Chan will present “Staying Safe in Our Community.” This free workshop for seniors will be presented throughout the month of June at various branches of the Alameda County Library System and at the Alameda County Law Library.

Your Dublin Library, 200 Civic Plaza, will host “Staying Safe in Our Community” on Thursday, June 6th, from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the Library Program Room.

This program will feature speaker Cheryl Poncini, who is the City of Oakland’s Deputy District Attorney in the Elder Protection Unit.
